Apple released a fix to the PDF exploit which was used to Jailbreak the iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches (Jailbreakme 2.0). If you want to have your unlocks reamin intact (that is use your phones with NTC) DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT upgrade! Jailbreak and Unlock will be lost, for how long, i can’t say!

* If you are already jailbroken, we suggest installing the “PDF Fix” patch from Cydia to save your iPhone from being hacked!

The newly released iOS 4.1 Beta 2 features new baseband for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G which makes these mentioned phones locked on this new firmware. It is highly recommended to stay away from this firmware for now if you rely on an carrier unlock. (which most of us are relying in Nepal)

For all those 3GS Users who had accidentally upgraded to 4.0 will soon have a breathe of fresh air.

@iH8sn0w reports “sn0wbreeze V2.0 doesn’t add anything new but has every firmware since 3.1.x in one release. 4.0.1 will be supported too. Again, sn0wbreeze v2.0 doesnt have anything new. No new exploits for new bootrom devices. Just the same old sb w/all previous releases.”
